WOW! The focus to detail on the sand green, especially the sloped tiling is such an intricate detail worth mention anywhere. I additionally dig the way he maintained using single stud ties as well

LEGO Store: Impossible: Time Stamps
GFLUG has taken 120 man hours to construct the store models for Aventura Mall in one sitting. I decided to calculate the Miami share for a just-built team of 5 people. Mike wanted 6 but I found 5 now and can still ask more.
The calculation was, with me devoting more time obviously, over the one month period, starting August 20th, 151 hours in meetings and build time have resulted. This includes two Build-On-Need meetings, September 23 and 24. So who knows? They may not even be needed. If one distant constituent can't come? 139. Not bad. If the two are needed and no one makes it? Only 135 hours. So it passes the GFLUG time, in theory, allowing more than enough time to get the store builds done.
I'll make it fun by offering drinks while building, and food at the last half hour. We don't want Corn oil from Lay's chips going on those Laygoes!
Every sitting I will be making a YouTube video after it describing how it went and what happened. Every set, a review. So you guys DO really get to take a part in this and enjoy the experience!

LEGO Store: Impossible??
A team of interested and willing teenagers is under development for Project: Sawgrass. Mike from GFLUG is passing on what the GFLUG was originally assigned, with only benefits in mind, to me. We both win. They don't have to expend gas dollars, and we get to help in the finest way that can exist opening a LEGO Store. It's a favor but I feel it pays.
The challenge: Assemble all ribbon models for teeny LEGO Sunrise. (My mother's friend found it next to her company store and said it was small) Also assemble sets for the display.
Time: 5 Fridays, and when I'm bored. For non-school TFOL, Saturday Aventura rendezvous would be optimal.
I have nothing but excitement and good faith with this. Three are in and it takes five to be good to go. If anyone wants to be a part of it and resides between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, FL please comment below. We will appreciate it.

Doing this was a reflection of my hobby. Maybe it is the reason I ventured 300 miles on a dogleg trip to Cocoa and Orlando (stayed in Cocoa) to visit the LEGO store on a rainy Thursday to pick up slopes. I would really like to thank Biz for the recognition and taking the time to interview us. And in the end, I am having fun, I suppose.

Very colorful building w/ a nice garden on the rooftop. Always interesting seeing what people do with their roofs. Note the sand green tiles too. Yum.
